American Geophysical Union is aiming to be the first-ever existing commercial building to achieve Net Zero Energy. This 62,000-square foot, five-story headquarters building, built in 1994, is in the heart of the Nation’s Capital. While it served AGU well for more than two decades, many of its systems are reaching the end of their useful life. Learn how AGU is taking the bold move of converting this iconic building into a net zero energy building by both reducing energy demand and creating energy on site.
