Josh is the founder and Managing Partner of Traverse Venture Partners, an investment firm exclusively focused on the technologies transforming the built environment. He has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and investor. Prior to launching Traverse, Josh managed CCM Energy, an investment firm he co-founded in 2012 with CCM Group, a leading private real estate company.  Before CCM, he was a co-founder and the CEO of Verdeo Group, a leading clean energy project developer acquired by Sindicatum Sustainable Resources in 2011. Earlier in his career, Josh held various investment roles, including serving as a Director at Climate Change Capital, responsible for building and managing a global portfolio of low carbon investments for the firm’s $1 billion carbon fund, the Chief Operating Officer of the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, and a Vice President for Softbank Emerging Markets, a $250 million venture capital fund. Josh began his career working with some of the leading companies and utilities in South America as a Consultant with Monitor Group.  He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
