Michael is an Associate Vice President with Cushman & Wakefield’s Sustainability Services Team. Michael joined Cassidy Turley as a Sustainability Project Manager in 2010. His role includes developing, managing and overseeing sustainability projects for the firm including LEED certifications and energy efficiency projects. Michael works closely with Clients and Property Teams to oversee LEED, ENERGY STAR, sustainability and energy efficiency projects throughout our managed portfolio as well as third party consulting. Mike has a strong background in not only financial processes, but also engineering and project management.

Throughout his career, Mike has been involved with over 15 million SF of sustainable project development including LEED project management, financial valuation, project engineering, energy efficiency consulting and retrofits, and water efficiency. Notably, Mike has overseen the ENERGY STAR certification of over 10 million SF. Highlighted projects include managing the LEED certification of a 10 building portfolio in the Washington, DC metro region and overseeing the LEED for Existing Buildings: Gold certification and Platinum recertification for 750 East Pratt Street in Baltimore, MD. This building achieved a 42% reduction in energy efficiency and in 2011 won the USGBC Maryland’s LEED project of the year award and a TOBY Award in the Earth category. Michael has also delivered the 3rd and 19th LEED v4 O+M certification in the world for 450 H St. NW and Chevy Chase Pavilion in Washington, DC.
