Michael Steifman began his career at the Starrett Housing Corporation. As the youngest corporate Vice President, Michael was responsible for implementing and monitoring all phases of real estate development projects from site negotiations and acquisitions, to design, financing, construction management, marketing, and leasing of projects.
In the course of his working history at Starrett, Michael acquired a wealth of knowledge relating to a property’s utility consumption and billing. In 1991, he founded UtiliSave, seeking to optimize utility costs by providing deep utility billing data analytics. To date UtiliSave serves over 16,000 buildings and has recouped over $400M in hard dollar refunds and savings for it’s customers.
Michael is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, Class of 1986.
